Mia Walter is a junior at UAHS and a first year staff writer on Arlingtonian. Mia was introduced to journalism her sophomore year when she took Journalism l and ll due to a love for writing and story telling. She enjoys writing about current events and topics, as well as collaborating with her fellow staff to produce meaningful stories. Outside of Arlingtonian, Mia is involved with her community as a Upper Arlington youth cheer coach and a member of LinkCrew, recently receiving the President’s Volunteer Service Award. Additionally she is on the UAHS cheer and gymnastics team, and enjoys hanging out with friends, doing yoga and baking in her free time.
