Kennedy Bates, Graphic Artist
Passionate about visual arts from a young age, Kennedy Bates joined the Arlingtonian as a graphic designer at the start of her senior year. After completing her AP Art and Design portfolio as a junior, her work earned recognition in the 2025 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards and was displayed in the Ohio Governor’s Youth Art Exhibition. In addition to the Arlingtonian, Kennedy can be found singing in the Vocal Ensemble, acting in UACT theatre productions, and running track in the spring. In her free time, she unwinds by playing the guitar, going on runs, and exploring local antique shops. She also loves exploring the outdoors—whether that’s scuba diving, skiing, or simply walking her two German shepherds around the block. Fascinated by marine ecosystems, she plans to study biology and ecological sciences in college, while minoring in studio art to keep her creativity thriving.
