Sophia Wood – Arlingtonian

Sophia Wood, Multimedia Editor

Sophia Wood is a senior at UAHS and currently serves as one of the multimedia editors for Arlingtonian. She began her journey in journalism by taking both Journalism I and II courses, which sparked her passion for newswriting. Sophia was a staff writer last year and now manages Arlingtonians social media platforms and student engagement. Last year, she wrote a variety of articles, ranging from political and world issues to musical op-ed pieces. Sophia is passionate about both journalistic and creative writing, and she enjoys creating weekly content to engage students and promote the Arlingtonian. Her multimedia work includes managing content on platforms like Instagram and podcasts, as well as covering a wide range of topics relevant to the UAHS community and student life. Outside of journalism, Sophia loves spending time with family and friends, enjoys shopping, traveling, listening to music, and exploring the outdoors.
