Lila Maffett is a junior at Upper Arlington High School. She grew up writing a new story every day and always dreamed of being able to publish her work. During her freshman year she read the Arlingtonian for the first time and half way through reading one story she knew that she wanted to be able to write for it. She took Journalism one and two during her sophomore year and joined the Arlingtonian this year. Her favorite things to write are light hearted features or news stories. Outside of school she is a member of the Upper Arlington girls swim team and Upper Arlington Swim Club. She also loves to be outside and go hiking or just walking or stay inside and baking or painting.
