Helen Griffith, Staff Writer

Helen Griffith is a first year staff writer on the Arlingtonian and a junior at UAHS pursuing the IB diploma. Helen took Journalism I and II her sophomore year. She likes writing all kinds of stories; however, she especially enjoys writing policy pieces because of her volunteering with the Matriots. Prior to Journalism, Helen also took photography for two years and creates graphics occasionally for the paper. Outside of class, Helen participates in cross country, track and equestrian hunter jumper. She is also on the speech and debate team and participates in her church’s youth group. In her spare time she can be found at Crimson Cup with friends.
